Types of fishing rods and their purpose:

• Drill bit rod (DBR).

Used for extracting drill pipe debris, bit bits, sleeves and other massive objects.

• Scissor Bit (SU)

Equipped with an unclamping mechanism, designed for gripping objects with internal cavity (e.g., casing pipes and couplings).

• Collet bit (CC)

Used for extracting small objects such as wire, springs, balls and small parts of drilling tools.

• Universal rod (U)

Suitable for gripping and lifting various emergency items, combining the functions of several types of catching tools.

Principle of operation of catching rods:

• Lowered into the borehole on the catching string.
• Grab the object on contact using a mechanical or hydraulic clamping mechanism.
• Fix it using a collet, scissor grip or threaded connection.
• Lift it to the surface for removal from the well.
