RING MILL

The main functions and purpose of the annular cutter (FZ):

Processing of pipes and pipelines:
The ring cutter is used for machining or cleaning the internal surfaces of pipes, including cutting and stripping corrosion, contaminants or growths. It is also used to de-crust and deform pipes during installation or repair of piping systems.

Removal of stuck objects:
Used to remove objects that may be stuck inside pipes or wells. For example, if equipment becomes stuck in a borehole while drilling or working, an annular cutter can be used to free these objects, allowing for safe removal.

Drilling tool residue removal:
During the drilling process, there are sometimes situations where drilling equipment or parts of it may be left inside the borehole. The annular cutter helps remove these residues and clear the borehole for further operations.

Well rework and completion:
The annular cutter is used during well completion to perform certain machining operations, such as cleaning or enlarging holes for subsequent stages of work.

Extraction of tools and materials:
When various elements, such as casing, need to be extracted or removed, a ring cutter can be used to easily cut and extract these elements.

Advantages of using ring mill (ROM):

High precision machining: The annular shape of the cutter allows for precise and accurate work, minimizing damage to the pipe and other elements.

Versatile application: The ring cutter can be used in a variety of processes such as cutting, cleaning, machining and removing various elements, making it useful in a wide range of drilling and repair applications.

Improved safety: The annular cutter is used to safely extract or remove objects from wells and pipes, helping to avoid breakage and damage to equipment.

Extend equipment life: The use of annular cutters helps keep pipes and equipment in good condition, minimizing the risks of wear and damage.

Application of ring cutter (RC):

In the drilling process:
To process and clean pipe and equipment used in drilling.

During well workover:
For removing stuck objects and cleaning the borehole of drilling tool residue.

In the process of installing pipelines:
To prepare pipes by cleaning them of contaminants and corrosion.

To work with casing:
When it is necessary to treat or remove casing.
